88888 Pickleball Ranch is a 90-acre oasis with stocked fishing ponds and 3 guesthouses (with the option to book all 3) with a private jacuzzi. Relax on the porch or spend time with the farm animals. If you love to fish, we have two stocked ponds with bass, crappie, and catfish (catch & release only). A grass airstrip is also located on the property for those who love to see or fly airplanes. We are also only minutes away from First Monday Trade Days in Canton. COMING SOON: Two tournament-grade indoor Pickleball courts with a pro shop.
The space
Our Guesthouses have full electricity, offering space heaters/AC, light, and electrical outlets to charge your devices. We are excited to have this option available to those seeking additional comforts during their stay!
Inside you will find a kitchen equipped with a Keurig coffee machine and complimentary K-cups and creamers, as well as all the housewares you would need for dining at home, a comfortable king-size bed in the private master bedroom with black-out curtains and closet. In the bathroom you will have a large rain shower and private toilet and a living room area with a full size pull-out couch and large flat-screen television and Wi-Fi. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. Outside is a covered porch overlooking the gorgeous nature that surrounds you.
The farmhouse is equipped with fiber optic internet. If you need to get any work done remotely, it is fully set-up for you to do so. Parties and events must be approved before booking.
No smoking in Guesthouse. If this rule is broken, there is a fine of up to $1,000 that will be charged to your credit card on your VRBO account.
Children are allowed but guesthouses are not child proof. No silly string, confetti, glitter, or chalk allowed.
Septic system in place. Do not flush any wipes or sanitary products down the toilet, please. You will cause major damage.
Minimum age of primary renter: 25
Fresh eggs from our Hen House flock are available for $3.00 a dozen.
We have a 2-night minimum stay policy but please ask if you only want one night. We will check and see if that is possible.
Guest access
Please know that, due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
You are welcome to stroll around the ranch to visit the horses, donkeys, alpacas and chickens. You may also book an alpaca tour with Maria but this needs to be booked at least 24 hours in advance and upon availability.
Other things to note: There is a $50 pet fee, maximum of 1 pet per stay.. Please let us know when you make the reservation so we can get the fee applied to your reservation. There will be a $50 service fee for any pets that were not disclosed before your reservation.
We also ask that pets are not left unattended at any time. Please keep your pups on a leash while they are here.
A few days before arrival, we will send guests our hand-selected guidebook of things to do and places to eat in the area.
Your hosts live onsite. We fully respect guests' privacy and our home is on a separate part of the property from guest areas. You may see us walking around from time to time. We are happy to help with any questions or needs from 7am-9pm.
T.V. is watched by using personal logins for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. LG channels are available.
The Guesthouses are new and sealed up tight, but a rogue spider or moth might sometimes get in. This is the country. Depending on what season it is, please bring the appropriate attire and shoes. Everything needed for walking through fields and woods if you want that to be part of your stay.
If you have additional guests that you did not include in your reservation, we will charge you through Vrbo. Failure to pay for extra guests is a considered a violation of house rules and your reservation will be canceled without being issued a refund.
**We do have 2 very friendly Guardian farm dogs whose job is to protect the farm animals.
Please keep all food in refrigerator or sealed bags. Do not leave any food in Guesthouse after you leave.
We recommend bug spray, sunscreen, and boots.
Property maintenance is ongoing throughout the year (bailing hay, mowing, clearing brush, trimming trees), so it's likely you may see property upkeep being done.
