Beautiful two story waterfront loft apartment with views of the Chesapeake and the Honga River in the back of the apartment.
Gardens surround the apartment and walkways. adorned with beautiful daffodils in springtime irises, roses,wisteria,hydrangeas all summer long. The petite Victorian Wedding Chapel would make the perfect location for a unique destination wedding ceremony and celebration.
The first floor entry has a full size laundry room behind closed doors with washer and dryer. First floor master bedroom with window view of the Honga River. A desk for writing or working, what a great getaway to write your first novel study for your exams or just send a postcard from what some call the end of the island!
The carpeted staircase takes you to a second floor loft area that has an open floor plan a large kitchen and dining island, and views of the Honga and Chesapeake are spectacular from the second floor.
There is a cozy 2 seat sofa a convertible king size day bed. A table area for meals or to play games, satellite TV and a portable FM radio. This is loft living at it's best.
Night time here is magical, especially full moon it dances on the water and you may look out and see the carnival cruise ship leaving the dock on Sunday nights and wonder what it is with white lights slowly moving down the waterway. Look up at the sky and see the milky way and millions of stars surrounding you, not easy to get this kind of view from the mainland, bring your telescope stargazers!
The property has a full size gas grill for guests to use. Rippon's Marina is within walking distance of the property, call in advance and have Janet rent you a slip for your boat for your week or weekend.
The property is located in one of the best fishing spots on the Chesapeake. Hunters may find this spot ideal in hunting season.
This is the spot to see Egrets, Osprey,seagulls parade on the piling all over the island. There is 20 -30 miles of roadway to explore on your bikes or motorcycles very little traffic and the drive is scenic. Hooper's lsland has Old Salty's restaurant and bar a short driving distance. Visit the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge where the American Bald Eagles nest and reside. It has a weaver charcoal grill, fire pit with six chairs ,hot tub and the beach is three miles away from the apartment with parking..
