If you want a luxury, clean contemporary condo with 3 bedrooms & 3 full baths with stunning ocean views along with hearing the therapeutic sounds of the Atlantic Ocean, our ocean get-away home is for you! Our 1836 sq ft. unit is located on the southeast corner of The Van Lee (6th floor) in Ormond Beach and it offers nearest-to-the ocean panaromic views (on a clear day you can see the Daytona Beach Pier 7 miles to the south). Our beach is a 'no drive' beach. The condo has keyless entry and we have provided all the essentials for a great get-away. The living room, dining room and kitchen are combined to create an open-space area to enjoy the company of family and friends. Custom floral arrangements throughout the condo create a serene and colorful mood-setting experience. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows show-casing the beach and ocean, comfortable cloth furniture, and glass tables. The living room has a 65" smart TV with Spectrum service provider along with a sound bar. A basket of romance books await your reading pleasure and The Van Lee has a library with a variety of books to choose from. The dining room table seats 4-8. The dining room lighting is dimmable and our metal starburst candle holder provides for a romantic dinner setting. We also offer a quaint glass table for two to enjoy morning coffee/tea or an afternoon/evening drink while enjoying a dramatic view looking downward toward the beach and ocean.
The condo sleeps up to 8 with beds in excellent condition. Each bedroom has their own private full bathroom. The master bedroom has ocean viewing windows along with a sliding door accessing the double-wide deck. Enjoy relaxing in a king-sized bed with a 50" smart TV. The middle bedroom has a queen bed, a set of bunk beds, and a 42" smart TV. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, 42" smart TV, and a view of the ocean to the south. All bathrooms have walk-in showers with a combination hand-held & large shower head. Spectrum wireless cable service provided in all 3 bedrooms. Hair dryer, shampoo, and body soap is provided in all 3 bathrooms.
WiFi is provided along with a new Epson printer and shredder.
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in the condo.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, some coffee k-cups, a 12 cup Mr. Coffee maker and filters, air fryer, crockpot, blender, mini waffle makers, dishes, glasses, wine glasses, pots/pans, baking pans, utensils, serving bowls and platters, hand mixer, electric can opener, dish cloths, hot pads, spice rack with a variety of spices, etc. and has an adjacent walk-in pantry.
Beach towels, sand toys & small shovel, beach football, volleyball, air pump,
6 beach chairs (3 standard chair height & 3 low chair height), 1 beach umbrella, & small cooler are located in front closet for your use.
The Van Lee has a pool deck with a lounging chairs/ sunning area and glass walls to minimize the effect of blowing wind. There is also a saltwater pool (non-heated, no life guard on duty). The facility has private beach access with a keyed entrance.
The washer & dryer is located in the condo. Laundry detergent & dryer sheets are provided. An iron & ironing board are provided as well as a "In Case You Forgot" Basket which includes basic essentials you may have forgotten to pack (i.e toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver, bandaids, sewing kit, etc.)
A variety of board games are provided for all ages.
We have a double-wide balcony facing the ocean where you can experience the senerity of the ocean's sounds and movements. This ocean deck features 2 rocking chairs, 2 deck chairs and a table where you can sit and enjoy majestic sun rises, the moon's glow on the ocean, pelicans flying in formation at deck height throughout the day, ocean sealife, rainbows, and rocket launches south of us from Cape Canaveral. We provide a pair of binoculars and a telescope to help you get a better look at passing dolphins, diving birds, boats, rockets, etc.
We have a veranda on the west side of our condo which invites you to sit and relax in our rocking chairs while enjoying georgous sunsets.
The first floor of The Van Lee offers a small workout room with a treadmill, exercise bike, weight machine and sauna. And for those who like to relax with a book, there is a library with books and tapes for you to borrow.
The condo is located 90 mins from Disney World, 1 hour from the oldest city in the U.S St. Augustine, 45 mins from Florida Central Zoo, 30 mins from the newly opened Daytona Aquarium, lots of parks for pickelball & tennis, golf courses and 1.5 miles from a yummy ice cream shop called Surf 'n Scoops. Upon your arrival, you will see our "WELCOME BOOK" which provides several suggestions of places of interest for you to explore as well as suggested restaurants.
Non-assigned guest parking is on the street level in front of the building. Lower level garage is only for owners' use.
Luggage bell trolley & shopping carts located on Garage Level for your use - select 'G' when in elevator.
NOTE:
The Van Lee has residental and rental properities and have the following expections of all who reside here...if you cannot adhere to these expectations, do not book this property.
MAXIMUM GUEST OCCUPANCY: The maximum guest occupancy for our condo is 8 (6 adults max). Condo is not condusive to infants & toddlers (<4 yrs old) due to the linen furniture and delicate and small decorations throughtout the condo.
LOBBY: Footwear and beach cover-up (applies to men, women, children) are required in the lobby and common areas.
QUIET TIME: Residents are expected to adhere to a 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. quiet time.
BEACH TO POOL RE-ENTRY: Guests are to rinse off the sand on their feet when coming from beach into pool area and building (hose provided by gate). Please do not put sand in the pool.
SEA TURTLE NESTING: May 1-Oct 31 is sea turtle nesting season in the State of Florida. Sea turtles are protected by the Federal Endangered Species Act and the Florida Marine Protection Act, and it is against the law to touch or disturb nesting sea turtles, hatchlings, or their nest. DURING THESE MONTHS, WINDOW COVERINGS ON ALL OCEAN FRONT PROPERTIES ARE REQUIRED TO BE CLOSED ONCE DARKNESS OCCURS so female turles don't get discouraged to nest on our beach.
Sea turtles will not come ashore to lay their eggs if lights are emitted from shoreline properties. Flashlights on the beach are also not permitted during this period. Fireworks are not allowed. A Community Beach Patrol monitors adherence of restrictions and fines are issued for violation. YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE TO PAY THESE FINES IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY WITH THESE STATE LAWS. Residents must advoid disturbing sea turtle nest areas and ensure that trash is properly disposed of before leaving the beach.
