Come and enjoy the summer season at a relaxing and exciting summer home! This home offers all the peace and relaxation you need, as well as exciting adventures you have been dreaming of.
Imagine the sunset at about exactly 7:03pm, you are laying down on an oak hammock under the covered patio, listening to the river run its course, the wind caressing your face and the smell of sweet BBQ barely passing thru. Our home caters to all your senses.
The Pavilion is 1800 square feet cover patio with its main view to the serene river and abundant forest on the hills. You can BBQ or cook out on the gas grill while your family and friends enjoy watching a movie on the outdoor smart tv/ w dvd on the outdoor sofa or enjoying a game of pool. After dinner is cooked, you can sit down on the 10 sitting picnic table and enjoy a good meal. Once your belly’s full, why not walk down to one of the two sunken patios recessed in the rock by the water’s edge and relax under the stars or if you prefer, choose the other sunken patio with a bench. If it’s late at night, you may catch a shooting star and your wishes may come true. Both sunken patios have stairs leading to the river’s edge.
The next day, once you are rested and relaxed, you can start your day by kayaking the Medina River. You start your course at English crossing, which it’s 3 miles up the road, while breathing pure oxygen released from the oak trees along the river, you may encounter a school of fish along with a new mom turtle and it’s baby turtle, sometimes the deer will appear and you might feel that you are at a scene from the movie “Funny Farm'. After kayaking the 2 mile trip, it will lead you right in front of the “The Butterfly” and “Lady Bug” lair.
If you are not ready to leave the water, you can stay sitting on the water in front of your relaxing home, call the kids and have a competition on who can find the prettiest stones under water or you might want to go grab your fishing pole and continue enjoying Mother Nature.
You can be sure that your safety and privacy will always be maintained by the beautiful cedar fence that surrounds the home.
If you are ready to join civilization, Bandera is only 20 minutes away. Don’t be fooled by the size of this small town. Set in the hill country, Bandera County, known as the Cowboy Capital of the World offers all the amenities you need including, museums, horseback riding, scenic drives and much much more! Accommodations are as relaxing and exciting as the outdoors. The “Butterfly Home” can accommodate 16 guests. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed, walk-in closet and shower/large tub master bathroom. Room 2 has a queen size bed, 5 drawer dresser and closet. Room 3 also offers a queen size bed and closet; room 4 offers two sets of bunk bed (full on the bottom, twin on top) and the living room has 2 queen size sofa beds and a TV. The dining area accommodates 8 guests and the heart of the house which is the kitchen has an electric stove, stainless steel refrigerator, stainless steel microwave. So you may make the best of your vacation, we offer one washer and two dryers for your convenience. The “Lady Bug” cabin accommodates 4 guests. It has one queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. Again, don’t be fooled by the “Lady Bug”, it also has a bathroom with a stand up shower, kitchen and dining room.
The home is connected to city water. The well is only for irrigation for the landscaping.
This home is perfect for intimate weddings, family reunions, family vacations, church retreats, and small birthday parties.
