IT WAS A BORDELLO DURING THE LATE 1800S, AND THEN BECAME A HANGOUT FOR NUCKY JOHNSON (FOR WHOM THE SHOW "BOARDWALK EMPIRE" ON HBO WAS BASED ON) - DURING THE PROHIBITION DAYS.

A gangster was whacked in the basement after messing up on an order, and a young wife hung herself in room 7 after catching her cheating husband with a whore.
