Don’t worry about hurricane season. We automatically reimburse any nights in which the island is under mandatory evacuation. Beginning in September thru February is our Off Season. We will allow a 2 night minimum for the Off Season for Friday and Saturday nights only. Stay will begin at 4:oo pm on Friday and end at 5:oo pm on sunday. All other nights have a 3 night minimum. The camp has an open floor plan with exposed rafters framing high vaulted ceilings over an area with spacious kitchen and island, a dining area which seats 10+, a huge sectional sofa with flat screen Roku TV, a game area with table and chairs, two comfy twin sofa beds (sleeps 2)to read, nap, and cuddle and 6 large wooden rockers facing the beach all within sound of the surf and 180 degree views . To feel the breeze and smell the salty air you can step down three steps to a very large wooden deck overlooking the sea with hammock, a swing, 4 more rockers, four large custom built loungers and a teak high top table with four high chairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed, en suite bath with a tub/shower,(sleeps 2) and a flat screen TV. Another bedroom has a queen bed with extra long twin bunk and a baby bed.(sleeps 4 plus baby) The 3 rd bedroom has a queen size bed with a twin bed and an extra long twin bunk (sleeps 5) The shared hall bathroom has a toilet and tub/shower . Another half bath and the laundry room with full sized washer and dryer also open to the hall. Wi fi is included as well as Roku TV with Netflix and Prime. All linens are stocked including bath towels, wash towels, beach towels, kitchen towels, and bed linens. The kitchen is fully stocked with a 5 burner gas stove, full size oven, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, air fryer, blender, drip electric coffeemaker, and double sink. Everything you need to cook your fish or boil seafood is downstairs where you can enjoy the breeze in the shade beneath the camp. We have a stainless boiling pot and burner as well as a full size stainless gas bar b que pit ready to go with natural gas connections. Below the camp is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water , 2 cypress swings, 2 tables, a bench and covered parking for 5 vehicles.
The camp is designed for year round comfort with 2 central heating and air units. It has solid wood walls and is well insulated making your stay very comfortable and quiet. The bedrooms have black out curtains. Every room in the entire camp (except the baths and laundry room) has a ceiling fan.
Location is within walking distance of the island grocery store, a fun dance beach bar, several good restaurants, and the snowball stand. A golf cart access to beach is just 100 ft away. Our area of the island is the best for surf fishing, crabbing, and catching shrimp.
Note warning: Don't get on the rocks. It is against the law and dangerous. There are strong currents, sharp barnacles, and lots of bird poop. Always watch children in the surf.
Sorry!! No pets allowed and no drugs anywhere on the property. Smoking allowed outside on the porch or down stairs .Violation of these policies will lead to expulsion from property with no reimbursement.
