Positive: The staff at the Link Vintage Motel is welcoming, friendly and responsive. The Link is probably usually an OK place to stay. My stay involved more than one melt-down of different parts of the facility infrastructure, probably due to bad luck. The team called in repair people to fix the issues. The repair team was competent and friendly, but it was a difficult fix, and my room needed to be changed late the first evening - around 9:00 p.m. Had the first room been a little cleaner (there was dust on the bathroom counters, and on the floors), and had the shower not had a horrific clog, it would have been quite nice. It was comfortable and had a nice kitchenette with up to date, clean equipment and enough coffee pods for the stay. It is close to the Safeway and also to a couple of in-town restaurants. The second room I was given was a bit more modern, and a little cleaner overall.

Negative: I did not like the bad luck of having several 'issues' during my stay. The shower had an intractable clog in it my first day. Late that evening, when it became clear the clog couldn't be fixed, my room was switched. The new room was a bit more modern, and it was cleaner. But the next day, the hotel's water main broke. The repair (of course?) was happening right outside my bedroom window on an evening when I had intended to go to be a little early. These are not issues that should recur, so I imagine most guests will have better luck than I did.
